Crowdsourcing my Early Modern Comprehensive Exam Reading List

My Middle English list is in the tweaking stages, as is my Methodology/Folklore list. That leaves Early Modern. To be clear, I'm looking at the long Early Modern (1500-1650 roughly).
I taught high school British Literature for year, so at first I wasn't worried about the Early Modern. However, this list is a little different than the others in that instead of requiring 35 primary works, and 15 secondary works, it instead focuses on 20-30 authors and it's expected to be comprehensive of everything they wrote.

So, under the advice of another advisor, who said that as much of the comp reading as possible should be reading towards your dissertation, I'm trying to find a balance between comprehensive and focused.

So, in true digital fashion, I'm crowdsourcing my reading list. I would appreciate any comments/additions.
The topic of my dissertation is the evolution of the character of the devil.

I thank you in advance for the help!
